At the end of a long day with strong head winds cycling upside down is very difficult, or should I make sure I hold the camera the right way round. Too tired to think about things like that.
We have been going into tiny little towns in search of the best kebab for lunch. On one little town we arrived right at the end of school and spent the next hour or so surrounded by children.
Jared found one broken spoke and two loose ones on his back tire. He is now attempting to fix them.

We have been living on about 20-40 lira a day for food while cycling. That’s $10-20 USD a day for the two of us, so do you really think we’re going to spend 3 days budget on a meal?

Cycle touring isn’t all beautiful views, great food and friendly locals. In fact most of the time we spend it in a tent.
We stopped in a small village for lunch and were immediately swarmed be the local kids. They were so intrigued by us but a bit shy as well. I have never experienced anything like it

We’ve been up since 5am tinkering with gear, running to the bike shop and weighing bag after bag, but finally after 17 hours our bags are packed with 20 kgs of gear, 37kgs of bikes and a while lotta carry on. Only one sleep to go
